Les Donovan is semi-retired and lives in the lakes region of central New Hampshire following more than four decades work in the aerospace industry. He has extensive home building experience having build four house, built garages, porches, finished basements and attic rooms as well as made extensive addition to houses. For the most part, he built the house by himself and acted as a general contractor for some portions of those projects. These projects included framing, plumbing, electric wiring, finish carpentry, masonry projects, sheet rocking, wall papering, and interior exterior painting and landscaping.
His formal education has been in aerospace technology and management with undergraduate degrees from the University of New Hampshire, University of Maryland, a masters degree from the Florid Institute of Technology and a near second master degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma. In addition, he is a FAA license pilot and aircraft / power plant technician. He has lived, worked, and travel extensively through the world. By his wife’s count, they have lived in more than thirty-five different homes, most of which required some level of improvement.
